Security Guard
We are looking for a dependable and professional Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment within a public-access setting. This role is ideal for someone who remains calm under pressure, communicates clearly, and takes pride in protecting people and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible security presence to promote safety and discourage unacceptable behavior
- Manage and de-escalate situations involving uncooperative individuals, trespassers, or persons in distress
- Respond promptly and effectively to potential risks affecting the public, staff, or property
- Monitor the premises and accurately report incidents in line with established procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a consistently safe environment
Requirements
- Physically fit and able to respond appropriately in demanding or high-pressure situations
- Strong verbal communication skills with a good command of spoken English
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management and de-escalation
- People-focused approach with the ability to engage respectfully with individuals from all backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional at all times
