As a Maintenance Operative (planned works), you will support the delivery of planned improvement works and maintenance projects across the estate. Working as part of a small, multi-skilled team, the role involves carrying out a wide range of property maintenance, refurbishment, and repair tasks to help maintain safe, functional, and high-quality environments for residents, staff, and visitors.
The role includes completing smaller-scale projects, planned maintenance activities, and minor repair works across occupied and communal areas. Duties will involve a broad range of trade-based tasks including:
- Painting and decorating
- Basic carpentry
- Plumbing repairs
- Plastering
- Flooring installation and repairs
- General building maintenance
You will be expected to work to agreed schedules and quality standards while ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with health and safety regulations, organisational policies, and industry best practice.
