The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team at Stamford Junior School, providing high quality early education for children throughout the school. Our Lunchtime Supervisors are key members of the team who are responsible for ensuring the well-being of the children during lunch periods.
This role will involve working the lunch periods for 2 hours, Monday-Friday during term-time only. This equates to 10 hours per week.
Desired Criteria:- Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Knowledge of how children play and the importance of play.
- Demonstrate good organisational skills.
- Evidence of ongoing personal development & training.
- Experience with Primary school aged children.
- Demonstrate highly developed skills in communicating with both adults and children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and make a valid contribution.
- Ability to interact with children and play with them.
- Desire to continue with professional development.
- Understanding of the practical application of equality and diversity relevant to the environment.
- Awareness of Health and Safety and practical hygiene issues and for these to be demonstrated in personal presentation and behaviour.
- Display a good standard of personal presentation.
- Ability, flexibility and willingness to take on other reasonable responsibilities as requested.
