Stamford Bridge Hotel London, at Chelsea Football Club is seeking a motivated and engaging Sales Manager with experience in hotel (rooms) sales and a passion for hunting new business. Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, working with the commercial team onsite and with The Ascott Limited, the role aims to drive new Corporate business to a soon-to-be refurbished hotel.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Day to day sales activities including lead generation, account management, face to face meetings, contracting, client entertainment, sales trips, attending trade shows and networking.
  • Focusing on aiming to contract new local Corporate business, in line with the commercial strategy.
  • Selling Meetings & Events spaces in conjunction with The Ascott Limited and property strategy.
  • Ensuring all operational processes, procedures, governance, and reporting is managed and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Utilising networks and industry expertise to understand and track trends, developments, performance and key information from the marketplace, both domestic and overseas.
  • Ensuring marketing collateral and initiatives are understood and utilised to their full extent and performance is measured.
  • Leading participation in familiarisation and sales trips and in the communications and presentations on behalf of the hotel, Chelsea Football Club and The Ascott Limited.

To be successful in the role of Sales Manager we require:

  • Act as a key contributor to the generation of sales forecasting and budgets.
  • Be instrumental in creating, maintaining, and monitoring the sales and marketing strategy to ensure.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in selling the hotel.
  • Use local knowledge, market and management information to identify new revenue streams.
  • To be a champion of the Ascott’s loyalty programme – discoverasr.
