Hours: 33 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The split shift working hours will be discussed at interview.

Contract type: Part‑time, all year‑round role contract (52.14 weeks). Holiday leave is to be taken during school closure periods.

We are seeking a Site Supervisor to work across our two primary schools, based in the Rochford area. The successful applicant will be a valued member of the team, supported by the Trust Estates and Facilities Manager in keeping the school buildings and grounds safe, smart, compliant and fit for providing a high‑quality education for our pupils.

Responsibilities

  • Key holder with opening and closing of school sites
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Carry out routine tests to meet legal compliance (e.g. water temperature, fire extinguishers, etc.)
  • Minor repairs to equipment and buildings
  • Preparing the school premises and site for out of school activities
  • Replenishing stock
  • Manual handling of deliveries, checking them off and reporting any shortfall
  • Decorating
  • Litter picking
  • Cleaning
  • Keeping the outside area tidy including sweeping and minor gardening
