We are looking for an experienced M&E Technical Services Manager to work for one of the UK’s most well-established maintenance service providers located at a prestigious HQ in Bradford. You will need to have a strong understanding of running a modern multi-storey commercial maintenance contract from the perspective of a service provider. The contract has been mobilised, the maintenance service provider has been appointed for a year now and there is already on board a well-established team of M&E HVAC engineers and supervisors who are a mixture of static and mobile.

Duties of the Technical Services Manager:

  • Manage the performance of the Maintenance Service team
  • Ensuring SLA’s and KPI’s are on target
  • Develop a rapport with the client key stakeholders through professional engagement
  • Identify additional revenue streams through projects and contract enhancements
  • Produce monthly reports and attend monthly client meetings
  • Maintain a regular and frequent site presence

A Technical Services Manager with an M&E Background and Experience:

  • Commercial Site Management or Contract Management
  • M&E Facilities Management experience with a Building background
  • Strong Client facing skills
  • Building Services is desirable but experience within Electrical or Mechanical systems from another background would be considered
  • Team builder and motivator
  • Good Networker, strong organiser, and multi-tasker

You will be working very closely with the Regional Account Manager so it will be a close management unit. Your role as the new Technical Services Manager is to continue to develop the client relationship and drive up the efficiency and profitability; you will also take responsibility for the full P&L of the portfolio. You will also personally benefit financially by increasing the profitability of your division. This is a key role within the division and there will be a big focus from the Directorship to see you succeed and support you in this position from the very top of the board which will give you direct access to the highest level within the organisation.
