Mechanical Maintenance Engineer This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of the maintenance delivery of a large very modern commercial office facility that is the HQ to one of the top 100 companies in the UK located in East India Docks, Docklands London E14. The job comes with a good salary, paid overtime and a strong career path into becoming a Supervisor or Lead Engineer. You will be joining a newly established maintenance team of four with a very large maintenance service provider who has held this portfolio contract for many years and has built a fantastic relationship with the client and managers of the properties. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer * 75% of the job is on the tools and involved with the delivery of the maintenance contract. * Managing the activities of the PPM regime and updates to the reactive calls * Ensuring that all statutory building compliance is upheld * Escorting the visiting contractors and the engineering services * Responsible for the actioning RAMS (with admin support) * Providing technical support to the engineering team. * Carrying out additional small works projects About You as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer * Fully Qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, with a strong understanding of HVAC Hard Services * Good working experience of BMS and CAFM systems * Desire to become Lead Engineer for both locations * Experienced in maintenance of large-scale building services applications. * Boilers, HVAC, BMS, FCU’s and AHU’s systems would be a plus. * Desire to progress in your career. This is a busy commercial office facility and there is a huge amount of overtime available. You will have the support of a dedicated contract admin support and will supported by the Account Manager for the contract who is a qualified Electrician off the tools. Full portfolio management and administrative support.
