Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with F-Gas required to cover a number of sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow, £43k+ plus plenty of overtime and great benefits. Our client is a leading technical services provider who specialises in high profile commercial/residential buildings nationwide. Due to contract awards, they are looking for a Mobile Mechanical/HVAC/Building Services Engineer with F-Gas to cover a number of sites in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Role:
- Planned maintenance on air conditioning, mechanical and HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's
- Conduct site walk rounds and complete reports
- AHU's, FCU's
- Expansion vessels
- Tap/temperature checks
- Conduct tap and temperature tests
- Changing belts/pumps etc.
- Changing/cleaning filters
- General plumbing maintenance including checking/repairing sanitary ware, toilets, taps etc.
Location: Central belt - Covering a number of high end residential/commercial sites and associated central plant rooms in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
Experience required:
- Air conditioning/mechanical/HVAC - building services maintenance background
- Basic electrical building services maintenance knowledge
- F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079-11)
- Ideally mechanical/plumbing SVQ or equivalent City & Guilds
- HVAC building services/facilities maintenance background
- Good mechanical/plumbing knowledge
- Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the client on site on a daily basis
- Ideal candidate will live in central belt and be able to commute to either Glasgow or Edinburgh
Salary/benefits:
- Competitive salary £43k+ based on 38hrs
- Good overtime rates including time & half and double time
