Mobile Electrical Building Services Engineer required to cover Manchester and North West area, to £47k plus plenty of overtime and great benefits. Our client is a leading technical services provider who specialises in High profile Commercial Buildings Nationwide. Due to contract awards they are looking for a Mobile Multi Skilled Electrical / Building Services Engineer to cover a number of sites in the Manchester North West area.
Role:
- Planned Maintenance on Electrical and HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's in a range of High End Commercial buildings.
- Conduct site walk rounds and complete reports.
- AHU's, FCU's
- Checking UPS systems
- Checking / repairing lighting / lamps / LED's/ ballasts etc
- Checking Air Conditioning / Chiller Systems
- Checking boilers / heating systems
- Conduct tap and temperature tests
- Changing belts / pumps etc
- Changing / cleaning filters
Location: Covering a number of Commercial properties in the general West London area.
Experience required:
- Electrical Building services / facilities maintenance background.
- Electrical qualifications - such as NVQ City & Guilds Level 2/3 along with 18th Edition rev 2.
- Understanding of Electrical / HVAC PPM's, plant maintenance in a commercial environment (Not domestic or install).
- Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the client on sites on a daily basis.
- Ideal candidate will live in or around the Manchester area.
The successful applicant will be provided with a company van, fuel card, specialist tools, power tools, uniform, a laptop and a mobile phone.
Salary / benefits:
- Competitive salary to £47k based on 40hrs Mon - Fri
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
- Pension (3% employee 5% company)
- Medical insurance
- Death in service
- Standby (currently 1 in 6) and on call allowances. £135 for the week min 4 hrs standard call out paid, overtime paid at time and a half and double depending when worked.
