Mobile Air Conditioning / Building Services Engineer required - £45k+ plus excellent benefits to cover Manchester / North West area. Our client is a national service provider and due to contract awards are looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning / Building Services Engineer to cover contracts in the Manchester North West region.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Air Conditioning maintenance, unit repairs (i.e. leak detection/repair, compressor/component replacement, re-gassing etc.)
- Experience covering a range of HVAC systems in commercial environments.
- Experience of splits, multis, VRF/VRVs.
- Experience of manufacturers such as Mitsubishi, Daikin etc.
- Hold F-Gas 2079 Cat 1 and NVQ level 2 with additional Electrical qualifications beneficial.
- Planned Maintenance on Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC plant, undertaking reactives and PPM's.
- Conduct site walk rounds and complete reports.
- AHU's, FCU's.
- Tap / Temp checks.
- Compliance checks on HVAC plant.
- Changing belts / pumps / Compressors etc.
- Changing / cleaning filters.
The role will be Air Conditioning / general building service/maintenance work, which will include PPM's, Reactives, fault diagnosis, system repair of HVAC associated Plant, some small Chiller and refrigeration experience also beneficial but not essential.
As the Air Conditioning / Building Services Engineer you will ideally live in or near the Manchester area and be prepared to travel to the surrounding Manchester / North West region. Our client has a range of sites and contracts and typically include Commercial office blocks, Hotels, leisure centres and High end - exclusive residential apartments.
As the Air Conditioning Engineer you will be provided with a company van, fuel card, specialist tools, power tools, uniform, a laptop and a mobile phone.
Benefits/ Salary Package:
- Competitive salary to £45k+ based on 40hrs Mon - Fri.
- 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
- Pension (3% employee 5% company).

- Standby (currently 1 in 6) and on call allowances. £135 for the week min 4 hrs standard call out paid, overtime paid at time and a half and double depending when worked.
