Are you an experienced M&E Area Manager looking for your next challenge within a growing and people-focused organisation? We are seeking a commercially aware and technically capable M&E Area Manager to lead the delivery of hard services contracts across a portfolio of commercial sites throughout London. This is an excellent opportunity for an established M&E Area Manager to join a successful facilities management business where you will play a key role in supporting operational performance, client relationships, financial delivery and team development. The role will involve regular travel across London and occasional travel throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of hard services and M&E maintenance contracts across multiple locations.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a senior point of contact.
  • Ensure contractual compliance and achievement of service level agreements.
  • Take ownership of commercial performance, budgets and P&L responsibility.
  • Support and develop geographically dispersed engineering and management teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence and service innovation.
  • Produce and deliver reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support wider business objectives and strategic initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC qualification, or significant experience managing hard services contracts.
  • Previous experience in an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Contracts Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Strong background within Facilities Management, Building Services or Commercial Maintenance environments.
  • Proven experience managing multi-site engineering teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, commercial performance and P&L accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
