Responsibilities
We're hiring a Head of Data Strategy & Governance to scale our data governance and change practice across Ireland and the UK.
You'll be the senior voice on our data strategy work, driving the methodology we recommend to clients and how we run engagements.

This will span data ownership, stewardship, quality, lineage, classification, retention, and access, and the regulatory overlays specific to Irish and UK health and social care.
- Shape and lead our engagement methodology, from discovery and workshops through strategy into delivery.
- Lead the change side of client work: stakeholder engagement, adoption, data literacy uplift, standing up governance committees, and operating‑model changes.
- Hire and grow the team of consultants and analysts who deliver this work across both markets.
- Become a trusted advisor to executive sponsors, DPOs, CIOs, Heads of Quality and Regulation, and boards. Build relationships that position Stalis as a long‑term partner.
- What Success Looks Like In Your First Year

- You've led or co‑led two to three named client engagements as the senior governance and change voice.

Requirements
- You've led or designed data governance programmes end to end (operating model, committees, roles, tooling decisions, and change management).
- You bring experience with either the Irish or UK regulatory environment for health and social care data, and you can build and execute a plan to reach capability and credibility in the other market within 12 months.
- You have a demonstrated track record of building and leading delivery teams and methodology: in a consultancy, advisory, or internal transformation setting.
- You have senior‑level client presence: fluent with executives and boards, while credible with technical and regulatory specialists.
