Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.

This position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission:
- Manufacturing parts and components for our racing cars
- Performing wire-cutting and die-sinking EDM work
- Creating wire-cutting programmes using PEPS CAM software
- Working independently at a 5-axis machining centre
- Setting up and running the programmes created on the CAM according to the specified parameters
- Ensuring the highest quality and reliability of the work results
- Responsibility for the timely completion of orders
- Deployment in a two-shift operation
Your profile:
- Completed training as a toolmaker or polymechanic
- Several years of experience in wire-cutting and/or die-sinking EDM
- Experience in handling 5-axis machines would be an advantage
- Knowledge of Heidenhain control (an advantage)
- Enthusiasm for high-tech materials
- Ability to work independently and take personal responsibility
- Proficiency in English language skills. German language skills will be an advantage
