We are the Audi Revolut F1® Team. Audi will compete in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship starting in 2026. The team has three locations: Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg, Germany; the Formula 1 Factory of Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland; and the Audi Motorsport Technology Centre in the UK.

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Team Leader to guide a team of talented Model Makers. This position is based at Audi Motorsport AG in Hinwil, Switzerland.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Model Makers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
- Set clear targets and KPIs for the team, monitor performance against the skills matrix, and conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Implement development plans to support individual and team growth.
- Plan daily work schedules, manage the job board, and coordinate shifts and absences to ensure efficient workshop operation.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor Prototype Workshop projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Continuously improve work processes, identify opportunities for efficiency gains, and implement cost reduction measures in collaboration with the Head of PWS.
- Ensure all work complies with internal policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and maintains a high standard of quality in both results and processes.
- Identify training needs within the team, plan and implement internal training programs, and support the recruitment of new team members.
- Regularly communicate with the Head of PWS regarding team progress, project status, and any challenges encountered.
- Prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
- Ensure the smooth running of tests in the Wind Tunnel in collaboration with Model Chiefs.
- Efficiently utilize human, material, and financial resources, ensuring compliance with budget targets.
- In the absence of the Head of PWS, assume full responsibility for all associated duties.
- Participate in key meetings and relay information to the Head of PWS.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a prototype workshop or similar environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in standard Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with SAP and CAD systems is highly desirable.
- Good level of spoken and written English is necessary.
