Welcome to the Audi F1 Project. Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026. The new team has three locations. Audis Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Groups Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Sauber Motorsport Technical Center, UK will be operational this year. Our Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations.
Your mission:
- Keep a close eye on the financial racetrack—monitor and analyze cost caps to ensure full compliance with FIA financial regulations.
- Maintain robust financial reporting systems aligned with Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and FIA guidelines.
- Work hand-in-hand with technical and operational teams to translate complex cost structures into clear, actionable insights.
- Ensure strict adherence to both Swiss and German accounting standards, especially regarding cost containment and reporting.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate the fast-changing regulatory environment.
- Play a key role during internal and external audits, acting as the go-to expert on all cost cap matters.
- Stay ahead of the curve with the latest developments in Swiss accounting standards, FIA financial regulations, and German legal requirements.
Your profile:
- Swiss CPA qualification (Swiss CPA exam completed—mandatory).
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid experience in accounting or financial analysis, ideally within a regulated or high-stakes environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS, and German financial regulations.
- A proven track record in cost management and compliance.
- A dynamic team player with a passion for motorsport.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with laser-sharp attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Office (Excel at expert level).
