Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (Enterprise SDR) to join our global growth team, to bring focus and support on driving awareness of our brand to target customers, through planning and execution of our B2B event strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Targeting & Outreach Strategy: Identify, outreach and engage target clients ecommerce, creative operations and international marketing teams.
  • Roundtable Roadmap: Own the end-to-end planning of our private events held in key cities around the world, bringing together thought leaders from the advertising, marketing, production and localisation industries.
  • Craft Omnichannel Event Communications: Develop and execute engaging pre- and post-event email/CRM campaigns and digital outreach, ensuring all communications are on-brand, compelling, and optimised for conversion.
  • Manage Budgets & ROI: Oversee event budgets, negotiate with vendors, and analyse performance to demonstrate clear ROI on all event investments.
  • Event Engagements: Act as a brand ambassador at key marketing events, to promote Locaria and build our network with senior marketers.
  • Wider Growth Initiatives: Work with the global growth team on wider initiatives relating to the development of content and improving inter-agency partnerships.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years in outbound business development or B2B event management, with a focus on high-touch, targeted executive-level sales engagement.
  • Ideally some experience working within the creative, marketing, e-commerce or SAAS technology industries in a similar events or project management role.
  • Experience in planning, designing, and executing brand-centric events that drive business objectives in a way that feels authentic to the industry.
  • An understanding of how digital marketing integration sits within event strategies, including email marketing/CRM and paid social advertising.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a natural at crafting persuasive and on-brand messages, ideally with a strong university background.
  • Nice to Have: Ability to travel internationally and some familiarity working with different cultures.
  • Exceptional project management skills and keen attention to detail.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast changing and varied role, and working within a collaborative and social environment.
