Company
This is a well established and multinational home insurance & services business based in London. They provide a number of home-related services including repairs/improvements and HVAC. They are growing and building a strong presence across UK & Europe.
Due to this continued growth, they are looking to hire a part-qualified Treasury Analyst / Accountant to join their group finance team.
Role
The Treasury Analyst / Accountant will report to the Head of Finance, and support on month-end journals, treasury, inter company loans and more. They will be responsible for a number of key duties including:
- Preparing inter company loan agreements and supporting on calculations for interest.
- Process month-end treasury journals.
- Manage bank account operations including account opening or closing.
- Daily monitoring of the cash balances.
- Own the process for payments related to treasury.
- Support on treasury accounting ensuring balances are fully reconciled.
- Identify opportunities to efficiently optimise the working capital.
- Assist with cost benefit analysis.
- Operate and assist with enhancing the SOX controls.
Profile
The ideal profile for this Treasury Analyst position should have the following attributes:
- Part-qualified accountant with 2+ years of experience in a treasury accountant role or similar
- Excellent double-entry knowledge (debits and credits)
- Actively studying towards a qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or ACT)
- Confident with the use of Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Understanding of SOX environments would be beneficial
Salary & Benefits
£40,000 to £45,000 plus benefits including:
