Our client, a market-leading and rapidly expanding business in the sports technology sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic and innovative technology team. This is a brand-new role and a unique opportunity to shape and lead the delivery of a high-impact, fast-growing portfolio of projects.
With 20 live initiatives and 20+ more in the pipeline, the scope of work is broad and impactful-ranging from ERP manufacturing process implementation and warehouse management systems to customer lifecycle optimisation. While there is a clear emphasis on technology projects, the role also covers operational improvements, making it ideal for a well-rounded project leader.
This position plays a key role in introducing and evolving project management frameworks, establishing governance structures, and collaborating with a wide network of global stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of a diverse project portfolio across tech and operations
- Design and refine scalable project frameworks, governance models, and best practices
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Build strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
- Track and report on project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals and project execution
- Champion continuous improvement in project environments and delivery culture
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering a range of projects, ideally across both tech and operations
- Strong planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management abilities
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a growing, maturing project environment
- Experience working with global teams and across time zones
- Background in ERP or other enterprise-level system implementation is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of governance models and delivery frameworks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Sector experience in retail, consumer goods, or logistics is a bonus
