Legal Biller

This is a well-recognised and leading law firm based in the city of London. They support a range of services including litigation and corporate law, consistently delivering high-quality services and being ranked among the top law firms.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to hire an experienced Legal Biller to join their finance department.

Role

The Legal Biller will be responsible for various duties in the finance department, managing legal billing processes and collections. Key tasks include:

1. Processing client bills using in-house software Aderant.
2. Handling electronic submissions of client invoices via various e-billing platforms.
3. Reviewing and editing pre-bills in response to attorney requests.
4. Managing a high volume of complex bills through the system.
5. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of billing documentation.
6. Suggesting improvements for internal billing processes.
7. Responding to queries regarding billing and accounting.
8. Supporting ad hoc projects and reports as directed by management.

Profile

The ideal candidate for this Legal Biller role should possess:

1. Approximately 3-4 years of hands-on experience in legal billing.
2. Experience working within the legal or solicitor sector.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
5. Experience with Aderant is highly advantageous.
6. Proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

Salary & Benefits

The salary range is £40,000 to £50,000, plus benefits including:

• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
