Robert Half is partnering with a leading Family-Owned Investment Management firm to recruit an experienced Hotel Asset Manager.
Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Monitor and analyse hotel financial (P&L, budgets, forecasts, KPIs) to drive profitability and performance improvement.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with hotel operators to enhance efficiency, control costs, and ensure compliance with brand and regulatory standards.
- Strategic Asset Management: Support long-term asset planning, capital projects, and value-enhancing initiatives, including input on acquisitions, disposals, and renovations.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on UK hospitality trends and market dynamics to inform pricing, positioning, and growth strategies.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the key liaison between hotel operators and internal teams (finance, legal, investment), ensuring alignment with overall investment objectives.
Skills
- 5 + years within Hotel Asset Management
- Strong understanding of hotel finance, P&L management, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and performance analytics.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with hotel GMs and operators.
- Experience in reviewing and managing capital expenditures and ROI justifications.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and project management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with tools like Power BI or similar platforms.
