Assistant Financial Controller

Overview

We\’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Financial Controller to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, operational efficiency, and business partnering during a time of transformation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly accounts and conduct variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Lead and develop a team of six finance professionals
• Drive process improvements and financial controls
• Collaborate with departments to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

About You

• Professionally qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or equivalent experience
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience of MS Dynamics 365 would be a benefit
• Experience in a similar finance role; manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage deadlines and support change in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel occasionally and work in a global setting
