Assistant Accountant

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting for an Interim Assistant Accountant position based in Gloucester. This is for a period of 3 months to start ASAP.

Role: Assistant Accountant

Duration: 3 months

Location: Gloucester

Salary: £28,000 -£35,000 (DOE)

Working hours: 37 hours across the week, flexible working hours

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Bank transactions and reconciliations
• Support with Accounts Payable processing (Minimal)
• Assist daily and weekly reporting
• Assist Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Support the month end accounts process – accruals, prepayments, journals
• Supporting the wider finance team with reports and other tasks

Key Skills/experience Needed

• Good communication skills
• Organised and methodical
• High attention to detail
• Computer literate
• AAT level 2 +/ACCA/CIMA studier
• Previous experience in manufacturing – desirable
