Robert Half are excited to be working with an industry leading organisation to recruit an accounts assistant based in Mountain Ash. They are offering a base salary up to £25,000 + Hybrid working (1 day from home), subsidised canteen & onsite parking & Study Support.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Finance Manager on various projects.
- Producing data to evidence KPIs.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Assisting with the preparation of month-end accounts, including accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Developing an understanding of all aspects of the Finance function.
- Helping with the annual external audit.
Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, to constantly hit targets and strict deadlines.
- Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and experience of one of the major ERP systems e.g. Sage, SAP, D365, Dynamics AX, Odoo, is desirable.
- Have the initiative to resolve complex problems and instigate processes to avoid such instances occurring in future.
- Ability to communicate and liaise at all levels both within the Company and with external stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, communication and organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable.
