Key Objectives: To work collaboratively in supporting the delivery and management of technical stage requirements for Staging Services with related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Departmental Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the effective Operations at Staging Services.
- Liaising with the Project Team to fully understand the customer’s equipment requirements and time frames for forthcoming projects.
- Review CAD drawings to identify discrepancies and verify that picking lists are accurately itemised.
- Plan both daily and weekly work allocation, accordingly, updating the call sheet regularly, prioritising work-load on upcoming job priority.
- Oversee the planning, direction, and coordination of warehouse operations, including stock preparation, order picking, documentation completion, cross-checking, and loading activities.
- Carry out pre-site preparation and assessment of equipment for both dry and wet hires to the highest standard.
- Take an active role in the warehouse housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
- Establish and maintain quality standards, ensuring all prepared stock meets the required expectations.
- Monitor stock inventory, including tracking losses, damages, and repairs.
- Attend and contribute to various meetings and work with management to continually review, develop and improve the operational procedures within the department.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures and statutory regulations.
- Lead, inspire, and support the in-house warehouse and site team by fostering motivation and providing ongoing training opportunities.
Production Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of stage setups and derigs in either vans and or trucks.
- Attend on-site builds, installations, and de-rigs while maintaining professionalism in all client interactions.
- Collaborate closely with stage technicians and crew to lead and guide the team toward successful job completion.
- Liaise with clients on-site and ensure the crew adheres to deadlines and quality standards.
- Assist in the realisation of technical stage requirements for all Staging productions.
General Responsibilities:
- Uphold and embody the Staging Services company policies.
- Provide technical and production support to events.
Desirable Skills: The ideal candidate may also be able to demonstrate some or all of the following, at application or interview stage:
- CNCing and Machinery Experience.
- Experience in using AutoCAD, Vectorworks or a similar CAD program.
- Basic metal working skills.
- Basic carpentry skills.
