As Fleet Engineer, you’ll be ready to roll your sleeves up for a rewarding role
that doesn’t just help people get from A to B – you help communities stay connected.
With a fleet of 48 vehicles travelling around Buchan and Banff, you’ll have the responsibility of supporting, advising and managing a team of engineers and support staff to ensure all our buses are clean, safe and reliable on the road each day.
Whether you’re a first timer or a fanatic when it comes to bus body types, we’ll train you on everything you need to know, but do ask you’ve worked in a related field such as the truck or haulage industry in an engineering setting. Bonus points if you’ve managed teams previously too, regardless of size.
We’re looking for an individual as passionate about Health & Safety as they are about people as you’ll be getting stuck in managing inventory, recruiting and training. Most of all, you’re ready to be part of the Stagecoach team to maintain, and ideally boost, our 99% reliability.
We don’t just keep our vehicles well looked after; we keep our staff looked after too. As part of the Stagecoach team, you can enjoy:
• Competitive Salary
* Annual Bonus: whether it’s boosting that 99% mentioned earlier, or reducing breakdowns on the road, we offer a performance based annual bonus to say thank you for going the extra mile.
* Job security: we’ve been on the road since 1980, with around 23 million passengers in West Scotland alone relying on us each year to take them from A to B, we’re not planning on hanging up our boots anytime soon!
* Career Development: at Stagecoach we pride ourselves on developing our employees into future business leaders as we believe this is the best way to improve and future-proof our organisation.
* Relocation: We understand our dream candidate might not be found on our doorstep so if you fancy living and working in stunning Buchan, we can also help with relocation.
* Free travel for you and a companion on all our services.
Stagecoach workplace culture is one where everyone can be themselves and where all the differences our people bring to the business are celebrated. We welcome applications from all, irrespective of background, gender, ethnicity, race, religion, beliefs, disability, neurodiversity, sexual orientation or age.
