You\’ll be paid to learn how to drive a bus at our expert driving academy, become part of a great community, and get rewarded for a job you love.**Trainee Bus Driver (including Apprenticeship qualification)*** Your new career starts here at Stagecoach – no experience needed.* Earn while you learn, we provide fully paid training to help you gain your PCV licence and enhancing your learning through a Level 2 Apprenticeship Qualification.* Based at our Stockport depot, located at Daw Bank SK3 0DU in the town centre.* Pay rate during training of £12.75 per hour (training will last 6 – 8 weeks)* Annual earnings of £27,525 following completion of training for the first year, rising to £33,592 pa after one year’s service based on 38 hours per week as a qualified Bus Driver. Hourly rate is £13.93 during the first year (after 6-8 weeks training) then £17 per hour after 12 months service. There are also enhanced rates for weekend work.* Shift patterns involve 5/7 day working including weekends. Individual shifts ranging from 0330 to 0200 hours.
