Salary: £17,340.31 per annum based on a 3 day week (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays).

Stagecoach London is hiring for a Part Time Training Administrator to join our fantastic training/L&D team at our Plumstead Training Centre in south east London although you may be required to cover at our Romford Training Centre on occasion. The role is key in coordinating the learner experience of new Bus Drivers (both trainee and qualified) into the business – and it is a big business too with over 5,000 employees.

We are looking for someone to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:

  • To invigilate for DVSA Theory, Hazard Perception and Case Studies tests as well as compiling KPIs for the training department at the end of each 4 week period.
  • Creation and maintenance of records of CPC attendance on the Stagecoach UK Bus in-house databases.
  • To use information from Workday and other databases to enable the updating of training records for new entrant/existing PCV holders.
  • Day-to-day clerical tasks such as answering the telephone, sorting and processing the daily post, maintaining stationery supplies and training materials.
  • Producing and issuing notices as and when required.
  • Provide a liaison role with Garage Managers, Engineering Managers and other personnel in ensuring positive outcomes for additional training requests and in the execution of promoting available courses.
  • Ensure there are adequate supplies of new starter packs for new trainee intakes.
  • Overall responsibility for all administrative support in relation to training activities.
  • To perform a variety of other administrative tasks including drafting routine letters and memos, retyping training material to update as required.

It would be desirable that you have experience in a learning and development/training administrative capacity, ideally with a knowledge of transport, have the ability to converse with a diverse range of people and characters at all levels, including stakeholder and learner engagement and have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office systems including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Aside from the opportunity to delve into the above, we can offer a salary of £17,340.31 per annum for a 3 day week which would be fixed days (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays). We offer a benefits package including a strong pension and discretionary non-contractual free travel for you and a household member on Transport for London (TfL) bus, rail and underground services.
