Stagecoach East is looking for a Property Maintenance Person based at our Cambridge Depot but supporting all of our other depots across East, including Bedford, our Head Office and depots in Cambridge, Fenstanton & Peterborough.
Hours: Full time 39 per week working Monday to Friday
Holiday: 30 days including Public Holidays
Salary: £16.55 per hour enhanced overtime rates
Other: Vehicle & Fuel Card provided
We’re looking for someone reliable who’s got an eye for detail and takes pride in their work. We will rely on you to keep our depots looking good and working correctly. You’ll need to be a team player who can also carry out tasks independently, ensuring that all areas are maintained to a high standard and safe for our Engineering and Driving teams at our depots, outstations and staff areas.
Duties and responsibilities - under the direction of our Engineering Manager in Cambridge you will:
- Carry out small maintenance & DIY repairs including heating and plumbing.
- Maintain and decorate buildings including offices and work spaces.
- Carry out repairs to plant and equipment.
- Carry out scheduled PAT testing.
Training & Qualifications:
- You must have a full UK driving licence.
- You will need to demonstrate your knowledge and a talent to carry out DIY repairs.
- Ideally, we would like you to have a relevant qualification, with a working knowledge of electrical/plumbing systems and equipment, and a minimum of 2 years of building service maintenance experience.
