At Stagecoach, our Bus Depot Service Assistants play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping our buses clean, safe, and ready to hit the road. You’ll be an essential part of a supportive team that helps make sure thousands of people get to where they need to be, every single day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Fuelling and oiling our fleet of buses and coaches
- Driving (shunting) vehicles safely around the depot and parking them correctly
- Cleaning the interior and exterior of our vehicles, including deep cleans and under-chassis washes using approved equipment
- Keeping our premises tidy and hygienic, including washrooms
- Carrying out vehicle changeovers, breakdown support, and collecting/delivering vehicles or parts when needed
- Logging fuel and oil usage and completing daily checks on equipment
- Supporting your team and contributing to a safe, efficient depot operation
What we’re looking for:
- A PCV licence preferrable. Full UK driving licence essential.
