Seeking Film Director 'n DOP in UK North East
"Teeth" is a psychological horror short that won the Pitch Day and is currently being produced and financed by Newcastle Film Club. Shooting dates TBA.
We are looking for a Director, Director of Photography, and Sound Designer/Mixer/On‑Set Recordist based in the North East.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the writer and producer
- Lead and direct large crews (approx. 50 members)
- Direct the film’s shooting
- As Director of Photography, shoot confidently in the dark
- As Sound Designer, mixer, and on‑set recordist, record 5.1 Dolby or above
Qualifications
- Experience directing large crews and producing high‑quality cinema
- Proficiency in cinematography, especially low‑light shooting
- Skill in 5.1 Dolby or higher sound recording
- Based in the North East of the UK
