As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an organised, proactive Finance & Operations Coordinator who enjoys taking ownership and helping a business run smoothly.
The Role
You’ll become the backbone of our financial administration, ensuring the company maintains excellent financial control and accurate reporting.
Working closely with the Directors, you’ll be responsible for keeping our finances organised while helping us improve our cash flow and business reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Yearly budgeting and forecasting
- Monthly profit and loss accounts
- Project cost reports
- Monitor KPI’s
- Chase retentions and outstanding payments
- Weekly supplier and subcontract payment runs
- Invoice reconciliation
- Managing credit limits and supplier spends
- Preparing year end accounts and filing
- Preparing VAT information for accountants
- Helping improve financial systems and processes
- Has experience in bookkeeping or finance administration
- Is highly organised and accurate
- Can prioritise their own workload
- Is comfortable speaking with customers regarding outstanding invoices
- Can produce clear financial reports for management
- Enjoys improving systems and finding efficiencies
- Is trustworthy, professional and discreet
- Cash flow forecasting experience
- Credit control experience
- Experience in the construction or renewable energy industry
- AAT qualified (or working towards)
