We are looking for someone to join us as a Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer.
This is an opportunity for somebody who wants to learn a skilled trade and develop into a fully qualified air conditioning engineer. Full training will be provided, and for the right person we will work towards putting you through your F-Gas qualification.
The job is varied and can involve commercial sites, power stations and MOD-related work, so you need to be comfortable with travelling, early starts, longer working days, working at height and occasionally staying away from home.
Previous air conditioning experience is not essential, but practical experience with tools, plumbing, electrics, mechanical work or similar would be useful.
You will need:
- A full driving licence and your own transport.
- Valid photographic ID/passport.
- To be able to pass the security checks required for MOD and power-station work.
- To be willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing where required.
- A practical attitude and willingness to learn.
- To be looking for a long-term opportunity rather than a short-term job.
Our working days can vary considerably. Some days may involve around 10 hours away from home, while on other days there may only be around 5 hours of actual work required. You will still be paid the same regardless.
I will endeavour to provide as much work as possible, and all necessary training will be provided as you progress.
A CSCS card will also be required, and we would arrange this as soon as possible, with the relevant test
