About Us: We are a growing group of companies comprising four trading entities operating within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Bookkeeper / Administrator to support our Finance Manager and assist with the smooth running of our financial and office operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to a well-established and expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of accounts using Xero
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate record keeping
- Maintaining purchase ledger and general ledger entries
- Supporting administrative duties including scanning, filing, data entry, and correspondence management
- Assisting with the management of staff absences and holiday records
- Maintaining and organising digital filing systems
- Coordinating fleet vehicle maintenance, servicing, MOTs, and road tax
- Supporting general office operations as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
