Are you ready to build the future of software delivery?
We\’re not just migrating pipelines; we\’re architecting an intelligent, autonomous delivery ecosystem. We are seeking a visionary Principal Agentic CI/CD Engineer to lead a landmark initiative for our digital banking client. Your mission will be to transition from a traditional Jenkins setup to a sophisticated, agent-driven CI/CD framework powered by Harness and Google Cloud
Platform (GCP).
This is more than a DevOps role. You will be the architect of a system where autonomous agents manage, optimize and secure the software lifecycle. If you\’re passionate about building self-governing systems and pioneering the future of AI in engineering, this is your opportunity.
What You Will Architect:
- The Agentic Migration: Lead the strategic shift from Jenkins to Harness, redesigning CI/CD not as a set of static pipelines, but as a dynamic, event-driven system capable of autonomous decision-making.
- Intelligent Infrastructure as Code: Go beyond basic IaC. You will use Terraform to define and manage a sophisticated Google Cloud environment (GKE, VPC, VDC) that can adapt and scale with minimal human intervention.
- Autonomous Tooling Ecosystems: Engineer robust integrations between Harness, SonarQube, Nexus and Google Artifact Registry (GAR), creating a seamless, self-orchestrating flow from code to cloud.
- AI-Powered Automation Scripts: Leverage your expertise in Python to build the logic that powers our agents, automating complex workflows, security checks and operational tasks.
Your Technical Toolkit:
- CI/CD Mastery: You are a master of modern CI/CD, with deep, hands-on experience in both Jenkins (Shared Libraries, Docker builds) and ideally, exposure to Harness (or a similar modern platform). You think in terms of abstraction, scalability and reusability.
- Google Cloud Expertise: You have a commanding knowledge of the GCP ecosystem, particularly:
- GKE: Architecting and managing containerized workloads at scale.
- VPC & Networking: Designing secure and efficient network topologies.
- Google Artifact Registry (GAR): Managing and securing software artifacts.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): You are highly proficient with Terraform, using it to build and manage complex cloud infrastructure declaratively.
- Advanced Scripting: You possess strong Python skills, using it to create sophisticated automation and glue together disparate systems.
Who You Are:
- A Visionary: You see beyond the immediate task and think about how to build systems that are intelligent, resilient and autonomous.
- A Pioneer: The challenge of a large-scale migration doesn\’t intimidate you; it excites you. You thrive on solving complex problems and implementing next-generation solutions.
- A Collaborator: You can communicate complex technical concepts clearly and work effectively within a high-performing team.
- A Pragmatist: You understand the balance between innovation and the robust, secure delivery required in a digital banking environment.
Logistics:
- Contract: 6 months initial, with a strong view to long-term extension.
- Start Date: ASAP
- IR35 Status: This assignment is inside IR35. An FCSA-approved umbrella company must be used.
