Retail POS Implementation, Customisation and Production Support Oracle Xstore Technical Analyst/Consultant to support end to end retail POS implementation, customisation and production support across multi country store environments. The role suits a hands on specialist with deep Xstore expertise who can move comfortably between configuration, Java development, integration and live operational support, working with both internal teams and third party vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • Implement, configure and customise Oracle Xstore POS across multi country, multi brand store environments.
  • Support new store rollouts, POS deployments, environment setup and go live validation.
  • Lead and deliver Xstore version upgrades, including codebase migration and file merge across Java classes, XML configuration and custom components.
  • Develop and maintain integrations across OMS, payments, order shipping, customer queue and inventory systems.
  • Manage critical production incidents, severity 1 escalations and root cause analysis in high availability environments.
  • Perform SQL and XML based troubleshooting, configuration, data validation and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct SIT and UAT support, defect resolution, unit testing and production bug fixes.
