MarTech / Marketing Technology Consultant – contract, outside IR35

NOTE: This is a mid-level consultant role, looking for someone with 4-5 years relevant experience, this is not a head / lead or programme mgt position, hands on MarTech advisory consultant role.

Working for upcoming business technology consulting firm with Enterprise client in the Telco and Digital Commerce sectors. You will work with the client to bridge the gap between marketing and technology, supporting the client in assessing, implementing, and optimizing marketing technology solutions to enhance our clients\’ marketing strategies and operations. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing technology landscapes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

About the Role – Required skills and experience: 4-5 years in Digital Marketing Technology: as a consultant, Technical BA or product owner. Deep understanding of MarTech landscape: Comprehensive knowledge of various marketing technology platforms like CRM, DAM, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), GenAI, Deep Learning, CDP, marketing automation tools, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, analytics platforms, Adobe Marketing Cloud, Blaze, Salesforce, Bloomreach etc. Data analysis skills: Proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools to extract meaningful insights from marketing data. Marketing strategy expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer segmentation, and campaign planning. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with programming languages like SQL and basic understanding of APIs to facilitate data integration. Project management skills: Ability to analyse and contribute to complex MarTech projects from planning to implementation

Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend appropriate MarTech tools and platforms aligned with client needs, considering factors like budget, integration capabilities, and features.
  • Identify new opportunities to introduce & scale new capabilities within the marketing technology team
  • Experience of developing martech strategy and creating presentations for C-level audience
  • Knowledge of building complex business cases and calculating ROI for martech capabilities
  • Experience of onboarding of new martech transformation initiatives into the business
  • Deepening of Martech specialisms and greater alignment and visibility across the group to drive additional value and economies of scale
  • Future-proofing Martech stack to drive media efficiencies and ensure campaign effectiveness through deployment of new capabilities
  • Embedding best practice technologies and championing their adoption to further consolidate technology choices
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing technology solutions to ensure they meet client expectations and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging marketing technologies, trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Train and support clients\’ marketing teams in using marketing technology tools effectively.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.

Outside IR35 Contract, hybrid working, ideally 2 days week on site, West London (Chiswick/Brentford), market rates.
