Delivery Performance & Governance Systems

Location: West London HQ, home based (1 to 2 days a week onsite)

Market rates, outside IR35 | 3 to 6 months initial, likely extension | Start: September

Morning: governance cadence with Tribe Heads and tier-1 vendor account managers. Afternoon: building the deck, updating the plan and configuring the Jira board yourself.

The role involves managing technology delivery across portfolios, through tribes and squads staffed by a mix of internal, offshore and strategic vendor partners. A standard performance metrics framework already exists in Jira, with rolled-up reporting in Jira Align comparing vendors and teams like for like. This role owns the delivery plan and governance that keeps it accurate, current and expanding.

What you will own:

  • The delivery plan for evolving the performance and service management framework: SharePoint site build, extended Jira Align reporting, and pulling budget and finance data out of Excel and into Jira.
  • Governance cadence with Leadership, Tribe Heads, the Agile Coach and the Dev team, plus the RAID log and escalation route.
  • Onboarding new teams and vendors onto the standard metric and SLA set, including scoping legitimate variants through to delivered Jira and dashboard changes.
  • Holding tier-1 vendors to agreed SLAs through structured review, escalation and pushing back on claimed exceptions.

The important bit: this is hands-on. No direct reports. No PMO analyst to hand the pack to. You build the reporting, the steering slides and the plan yourself, and you work directly in Jira and Jira Align rather than raising tickets and waiting.

What we need to see:

  • Project management applied to a live operational capability, not a single discrete build.
  • Genuinely hands-on: you have run the governance and produced the artefacts yourself, because you had no team or sat in a matrix where nobody reported to you.
  • Jira and Jira Align at power or super user level, configuring rather than just consuming.
  • Vendor performance management with tier-1 partners.
  • Credibility with Heads of and vendor account managers from the first meeting.
  • Delivery through influence, not authority.

Nice to have: SAFe or PI planning exposure, Power BI dashboard build, experience integrating finance data into a delivery reporting tool.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
