Our client is a venture-backed clean energy engineering business. We are looking for a Deployment Project Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of 1MW modular systems, from the London factory into the field.

Responsibilities

  • Overall project delivery from factory to site, including programme scheduling, Gantt charts, risk registers and budget tracking
  • Managing civil subcontractors across groundworks, utility connections, wiring, pipeline routes and solar installation
  • Ensuring site activity complies with CDM Regulations and UK Health and Safety requirements
  • Aligning manufacturing timelines with deployment schedules alongside production and permitting teams
  • Bridging HQ development and field operations

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years in construction or deployment project management for physical hardware or infrastructure
  • Degree in engineering or physical sciences
  • CDM Regulations and UK H&S compliance knowledge
  • Technical literacy across civil, electrical and mechanical disciplines
  • Subcontractor and multi-trade coordination experience
  • Deployment in remote or resource-constrained environments is a strong advantage

Logistics

  • Five days on site, split between a London factory and project sites in the South West. Hotel accommodation provided for site work.
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation support available.
