The work forms part of a wider eCommerce programme for a customer in the leisure sector, moving from a Legacy CMS to a headless, cloud-hosted architecture. You will work directly with the client on site, lead workshops and turn business needs into clear requirements that shape the customer experience.
Scope of servicesPlan and lead client workshops to uncover goals, pain points, customer journeys and requirementsWork on site with client stakeholders, building trusted relationships and managing expectations, scope and changeDefine and shape digital customer experiences, including journey mapping, content models and editorial workflowsCapture and document business and functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteriaSupport the move to a headless architecture, working with developers and solution architects on specifications and integrationsContribute BA expertise to Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning and prioritisationDeliver process maps, wireframes and supporting documentation as requiredSupport UAT, release planning and post-launch optimisationEssential skills and experienceProven track record as a contract Business Analyst in client-facing digital or CMS engagementsHands-on experience with any headless CMS (for example Contentful, Contentstack, Storyblok, Sanity, Kontent.ai, or Umbraco headless)Strong workshop facilitation with senior and non-technical stakeholdersExperience of defining customer experiences and journeys for web or eCommerce platformsConfident working on site with clients and presenting recommendationsExcellent requirements gathering, including user stories and acceptance criteriaSolid Agile/Scrum experience, using tools such as Jira and ConfluenceDesirableUmbraco or another .NET-based CMS (Sitecore, Optimizely, Kentico)Experience of CMS migration, replatforming or upgradesUnderstanding of APIs and integrations (eCommerce, CRM, DAM, search)Knowledge of SEO, accessibility (WCAG) and content strategyBA or Agile certification (eg BCS, IIBA, PSPO/CSPO)Why this engagementOutside IR35, confirmed by the client's status determinationClient-facing, workshop-led work on a headless and eCommerce transformationHybrid arrangement with a sensible 2-day on-site commitmentA strong consultancy environment with enterprise-level clientsLocation: Central London (hybrid, 2 days per week on site with the client)Engagement: Contract, Outside IR35
