A global consultancy operating in mobile telecoms and satellite is looking for an Enterprise Architect to lead service and operational transformation across their client programmes.
You will own the architectural vision for operational support and service assurance, working closely with client product, engineering and commercial teams to drive measurable improvements in service quality, platform resilience and partner ecosystem integration.
What you will be doing:
- Defining and owning target-state architecture for OSS and service assurance platforms across satellite and terrestrial networks
- Designing service assurance frameworks covering fault management, performance monitoring, SLA management, and root cause analysis
- Leading the architectural roadmap for satellite and mobile, focused on interoperability and ecosystem enablement
- Driving adoption of industry standards (TM Forum Open APIs, eTOM, SID, 3GPP NTN) into operational and assurance tooling
- Architecting integration patterns across OSS/BSS layers with a focus on scalability, automation, and real-time service health visibility
- Bridging business and technical teams, translating operational requirements into solution designs and delivery plans
What you will need:
- 10+ years in enterprise or digital architecture with significant depth in OSS, service assurance, or network operations
- Strong knowledge of service assurance design: fault, performance, configuration, SLA management across hybrid satellite-terrestrial networks
- Proven experience applying frameworks (eTOM, SID, TAM, Open APIs) in operational environments
- Experience delivering OSS/BSS platforms, service catalogues and dashboards
- Comfortable at C Suite level with strong stakeholder management across technical and commercial functions
- Equally at home at the whiteboard and in delivery
Nice to have:
- MBA or business qualification alongside a technical degree
- TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent architecture and service management frameworks
Location: Home based, London HQ, some travel
