My client is a long-established Solicitors practice located in East Belfast, they have an excellent reputation as a client focused, proactive and commercially aware Law firm. They provide a comprehensive range of services to private and business clients. They now seek to recruit a permanent Legal Secretary to provide support to the partners.

Working as part of a small team you will carry out a range of office administration associated with conveyancing. Responsibilities include:

  • Opening files
  • Dealing with sales and purchases
  • Requesting title deeds and redemption figures
  • Dealing with registrations in the Land Registry and Registry of Deeds
  • Requesting property certificates, searches and ace maps
  • Updating clients on case progress
  • Completing SDLT returns

We are a small but busy office and as such it will be necessary to help out with answering phones, making appointments and greeting clients. Ideally you will have at least 2 years legal secretarial experience linked to great administration skills and confidence in using Microsoft packages. You will enjoy working as part of a small team, but you will also relish the opportunity to process your own workload.

Salary £32,000 to £35,000 to reflect skills and experience, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, there is some flexibility to actual hours worked. 28 days holiday, pension. Free car parking located at offices in East Belfast.
