HR & Recruitment Advisor (Foundation CIPD) – Staffscanner, Healthcare Industry
Purpose of the Role
The Resourcer plays a key role in ensuring their regional team has a strong, compliant, and reliable candidate pipeline to meet care delivery demand.
This role is suited to an experienced recruiter who excels in candidate generation, screening, and workforce planning.
The Resourcer supports Consultants and Regional Managers by leading candidate sourcing activity, mentoring newer Resourcers, and ensuring the highest quality of candidates are sourced to support regional growth targets.
This position is critical in ensuring the region achieves its weekly care hours targets and maintains an exceptional standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Attraction & Sourcing
- Lead candidate attraction for the region through job advertising, CV searching, and manage and optimise job postings to ensure quality applications and cost effective sourcing.
- Build strong candidate pipelines across all care roles (carers, seniors, support workers, nurses, etc.) to meet client forecasted demand.
- Identify new candidate sourcing channels (local events, job fairs, referral schemes, community outreach).
Screening & Compliance
- Conduct thorough pre-screening calls to assess suitability, experience and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and notes within the Staffscanner platform.
- Ensure all candidates are fully compliant before first shift or assignment, including training certifications through Credentially.
Delivery Support
- Work collaboratively with Consultants to understand current and upcoming client requirements across the region.
- Proactively fill open roles or client bookings within service level timelines.
- Support interview coordination, training and candidate onboarding processes.
- Track candidate availability and proactively schedule interviews to maximise shift coverage.
Team Support
- Act as a “go-to” point for the region on recruitment best practice and compliance questions.
- Share market insights, feedback and suggestions with the Regional Manager to improve sourcing efficiency.
- Support new Resourcers in learning sourcing systems, job board use and screening.
Reporting & Data Quality
- Maintain accurate data on candidate status and pipeline progress within Credentially and Staffscanner.
- Provide weekly updates to Regional Manager and Consultants on pipeline status, recruitment priorities and upcoming capacity.
- Track performance against sourcing and fill-rate KPIs.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Proven recruitment or resourcing experience (agency or in-house).
- Excellent communication and candidate engagement skills.
- Understanding of compliance processes within care or regulated environments.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities simultaneously.
- Collaborative approach — works well with consultants and managers.
- Previous experience in healthcare, care recruitment, or high-volume staffing.
- Knowledge of PVG/DBS processes and Right to Work legislation.
- Competence with applicant tracking systems and CRM tools.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
