Location: Glasgow

Pay: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Interview Process: 3 Stages consisting of Pre-screening, 1st Stage interview and Final Stage Interview. Interviews will be held with a selection of Senior Management at Staffscanner. Each stage will consist of culture fit and competency-based questions along with a discussion around your experience and vision for the role.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager who will lead the development and submission of bids for local authority contracts in Scotland and England, and NHS framework applications. You will also support the Business Development team in securing positions on Preferred Supplier Lists, manage third-party tender websites, and ensure timely submissions. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for awards and grants and manage the application process from start to finish. This role requires strong project management, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the bid strategy in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Create and manage the bid and application process
  • Responsible for leading on bids relating to Local Authorities and the NHS
  • Provide support to the overall Business Development Team to become Preferred Suppliers for our clients
  • Identify and bid for forms of funding through local and national grants
  • Monitor and review potential bids through 3rd party websites such as Tussell

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with public sector procurement, especially local authorities and NHS.
  • Successful track record in local authority and NHS bids
  • Experience with PSL proposals and managing tender websites
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of industry trends and best practices
  • APMP certification would be preferred
  • Commitment to continuous learning in bid management and procurement processes
