What we need from you (requirements)

  • You must have a valid right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
  • At least 6 months of UK-based experience working with children or young people within the last 5 years
  • SVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent
  • Experience supporting children or young people with a range of needs in a professional care or support setting
  • A satisfactory PVG check with Children’s workforce eligibility
  • A passion for delivering high-quality support with professionalism, compassion, and teamwork

  • We cannot accept overseas experience alone – relevant UK-based experience is essential
  • This role is for a Child Day Centre, so previous experience supporting children or young people is highly important
  • Pay rates vary by shift – the advertised range covers standard day shifts up to bank holiday rates
