Duties:
- Operate a telehandler to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Transport materials to and from storage areas
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on the telehandler
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy equipment is required
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks associated with the role
