We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a large industrial client in Basildon. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent career progression for the right candidate.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 06:45 - 15:45
- Friday: 06:45 - 11:45
- 39 paid hours per week
Pay & Benefits:
- £13.50 per hour
- Weekday & Weekend overtime available with enhanced pay!
- Pay review after 3 months, with the potential for an increase based on performance
- Early finish every Friday

Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas
- Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Assisting with goods in/goods out
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous FLT and warehouse experience
- Good level of English
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Physically fit and happy to undertake manual handling
- Own transport is beneficial due to the location
