We are recruiting for an experienced FLT Warehouse Operative to join a large industrial client in Basildon. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent career progression for the right candidate.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 06:45 - 15:45
  • Friday: 06:45 - 11:45
  • 39 paid hours per week

Pay & Benefits:

  • £13.50 per hour
  • Weekday & Weekend overtime available with enhanced pay!
  • Pay review after 3 months, with the potential for an increase based on performance
  • Early finish every Friday
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas
  • Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Assisting with goods in/goods out
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Previous FLT and warehouse experience
  • Good level of English
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Physically fit and happy to undertake manual handling
  • Own transport is beneficial due to the location
