We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Suffolk on a temporary basis for up to 3 months. The successful candidate will have hands-on mechanical fitting experience, with welding, drilling, and calibration skills essential. No design work is required. Full training will be provided on all company machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance tasks on a variety of machinery and equipment
- Perform welding, drilling, and calibration work to required standards
- Read and work from engineering instructions and job sheets (no design responsibilities)
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised manner
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support daily operations
- Follow all company health, safety, and environmental procedures
Training & Development
Full training provided on all in-house machinery and equipment.

- Temporary contract for up to 3 months
- Overtime available depending on workload

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical/engineering role
- Proficiency in welding, drilling, and calibration
