The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring all learner, employer and programme documentation is accurate, compliant and audit-ready across all funded provision delivered by Staff Power Training.
Key Responsibilities
- Review learner enrolment documentation and eligibility evidence
- Verify learner identification and right-to-study evidence
- Monitor learner records, attendance and GLH evidence
- Validate progression, interview and job outcome evidence
- Conduct internal audits and compliance sampling
- Maintain accurate records within MIS and CRM systems
- Support audits, inspections and funding reviews
- Liaise with tutors, careers advisers and management teams
Essential Criteria
- Experience within education, training or funded provision
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to interpret policies and procedures
Desirable Criteria
- Experience with Skills Bootcamps
- Experience with Adult Skills Fund (ASF)
- Knowledge of ILR requirements
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements
- Experience using PICS, HubSpot or similar systems
- Experience supporting audits and inspection
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- Promote safeguarding, Prevent and British Values
- Report safeguarding concerns in line with company procedures
- Complete mandatory safeguarding training

- Maintain audit-ready learner files
- Ensure high levels of compliance accuracy
- Minimise funding risk
- Support successful audits and inspections
