To prepare, apply, and cure dry powder-coated finishes on metal components and products using powder coating systems and curing ovens, ensuring a high-quality and durable finish in line with company production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare metal components for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and hanging parts.
  • Apply dry powder coatings to products using electrostatic powder coating equipment.
  • Operate curing ovens and ensure correct curing times and temperatures are maintained.
  • Inspect coated products for finish quality, coverage, colour consistency, and defects.
  • Rework or touch up products where necessary to meet quality standards.
  • Load and unload products safely from coating lines and ovens.
  • Maintain coating equipment and ensure the work area remains clean and organised.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily manufacturing targets.
  • Adhere to all company quality procedures and health & safety requirements.
  • Assist with general manufacturing duties when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in dry powder coating or industrial finishing.
  • Knowledge of powder coating processes and curing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices.

  • Experience working with fabricated metal products.
  • Understanding of coating thickness and finish standards.
