Role Overview

Our client is looking for a Vehicle Painter to join its busy bodyshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality paint finishes to a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and customer standards. This role requires excellent attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles and panels for painting where required.
  • Mix and match paint colours accurately.
  • Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray-painting equipment.
  • Achieve a high-quality finish in line with company and manufacturer standards.
  • Carry out minor rectification work and polishing as required.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with preppers, panel technicians, and other bodyshop personnel to meet productivity targets.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter within a bodyshop or automotive repair environment.
